Foundations of Faith and Work 2022

Faith Work

You are invited to register for Foundations of Faith and Work, a new ten-session theology class offered in partnership with the Nashville Institute for Faith and Work. If you’ve ever wondered what Scripture has to say about your daily work, this class will outline a biblical theology of work from Genesis to Revelation in order to help you see your vocation in a new light and steward your role for the glory of God. The class, featuring video teachings, group discussions, and personalized reflective exercises, will meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM beginning February 20th in St. Albert Hall at The Cathedral of the Incarnation.

This class is intended for anyone who is looking for a connection between what they do everyday at work and God’s plan for renewal.  This is for all age groups; people working in for profit and nonprofit environments; this is for people working unpaid and paid work.

The class was designed and sponsored by the Nashville Institute of Faith and Work, a multi denominational organization promoting faith/work theology. Dr. Paul Lim, Associate Professor of The History of Christianity at Vanderbilt Divinity School designed the program. He is teacher and senior Advisor with Nashville Institute of Faith and Work.
