WELCOME
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
For over 100 years, the Cathedral of the Incarnation has been a center and a home for Worship, Faith, and Culture, serving as the Mother Church of the Diocese of Nashville and the Cathedral of our diocesan bishop, as well as an active parish church in Midtown Nashville.
Recently refurbished and lovingly restored to its full architectural and artistic beauty, our magnificent Cathedral Church is dedicated to the honor of the central mystery of our Christian Faith: the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ in the flesh. In union with the Blessed Virgin Mary and the heavenly choirs of Angels and Saints, we worship the Incarnate Lord, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God the Father.
The Cathedral is a sacred and special place where people of goodwill throughout the city and the diocese, as well as visitors to Nashville, come to experience Truth, Goodness, Beauty, and Unity. The Cathedral is also the spiritual home of a dynamic, joyful, and welcoming community of believers, numbering over 2000 families. Our vibrant ministries are focused on worship, formation, culture, and service, and there are many opportunities to get involved. If you feel drawn to reverent and joyful liturgical celebrations, a rich sacramental life, beautiful sacred music, opportunities to learn and deepen your faith, ways to make a difference for those in need, strong community life, or all of the above, you will find a home at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. As a faithful and welcoming community, we strive together to lead lives of authentic Faith, Hope, and Charity, rooted in our worship of the Incarnate Lord.
You are welcome here! Come visit our Cathedral for daily or Sunday Mass or to spend a few minutes in quiet prayer, and know of our invitation to participate in any of our community and faith formation activities. Should you or your family have pastoral needs, our parish clergy and staff are available to assist you. If you are searching for a parish home, we hope you will feel welcome and join us here at this beautiful and historic Cathedral Church.
May God richly bless you and your family, now and always.

Sincerely yours in Christ the Incarnate Word,
